A little Return to Normalcy (Sangas back on)
Dear family,
For nearly the entire summer, I was travelling every other week. Consistently maintaining a newsletter during that period was impossible for me. The moving in and out of time zones, and being constantly airborne, left me ungrounded--literally and creatively.
I've just returned to Govardhana (Monday) and although this first week has been physically trying as the body attempts to reacclimatize to the new time zone, the prospect of being grounded for an extended period of time has put the mind as well as the vata in the body at rest meaning I can (attempt to) dip back into the creative resource.
In our main sat-sanga, we had started a mini series on nine-limb-devotion starting with sravanam-bhakti from the bhakti-sandarbha. We intend to complete that series up to smaranam (for now) before returning to our regular study of bhagavata-purana (picking up from canto 8).
In our sat-sanga reading happening three days a week we shall continue our look at the 3rd canto Kapila-Muni's devotional sankhya.
Also take special note of the guhyam-akhyati-prcchati sangas. I consider these sangas more important than regular ones because it's (intended to be) a space where practitioners can speak freely about topics closer to their heart in real time. See blurbs below.
with love (attention, affection, appreciation, acceptance, allowance) to y'all my guardian angels
